Accounts Manager

As a member of Idea Theorem, you will be part of a growing team, creating world-class digital products for some of the largest companies in North America. The Account Manager will foster client relationships and build client success. The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face. We want to evolve with you! We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience working in the account management space. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our project management team and our marketing team and take a lead in client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for clients
  • Deepen your understanding of Idea Theorem’s services and strengths and how we support our clients
  • Understand each client’s business model
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts with new clients and manage contract renewals
  • Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Work closely with the project management team
  • Understand client needs and look for opportunities to expand our service offering
  • Forecast and track key account metrics and report on the status of all accounts
  • Assist with challenging client requests and know when to escalate to the leadership team
  • Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers’ success
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Make visits to our customers to identify opportunities for growth
  • Manage all reporting about the health of customers’ accounts

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in account management
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have a proven track record of managing multiple accounts
  • Experience working with institutional clients (Preferably in healthcare, finance, or the public sector)
